At Healing Place Psychology, I aim to create a safe, welcoming space where you can show up just as you are. I bring open-mindedness and respect for your unique story. Weird is welcome here. Diversity is at the heart of my work, and I’m dedicated to supporting people from all backgrounds, escpecially the LGBTQIA+ community and those with neurodivergent experiences.
Hi, I’m a clinical psychologist passionate about supporting people through life’s challenges, healing from past trauma, and building a more connected and meaningful life.
My approach is holistic and client-centred, with a strong focus on the mind–body connection. I work collaboratively to help you increase self-awareness, build resilience, and make lasting, values-aligned change.
I can support you through challenges such as intrusive thoughts, anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, and relationship difficulties. I work with individuals navigating self-doubt, recognising red flags in dating, and striving to build authentic and respectful connections. Together, we explore what may be holding you back and work toward greater clarity, resilience, and well-being in your relationships and daily life.
I take a neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed approach, with extensive experience supporting clients with ADHD, complex trauma, and chronic illness. My background includes many years in community and not-for-profit settings, working alongside people facing ongoing mental and physical health challenges.
I am accredited in eating disorder treatment, provide care under an Eating Disorder Care Plan, and primarily use Schema Therapy, integrating evidence-based trauma treatments tailored to your unique needs. My practice is inclusive, body-affirming, and grounded in compassion.
Sessions are available online, and I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where you can feel heard and empowered on your journey.
I tailor therapy to support you as a person—never the other way around. Whatever approach we use, my goal is to connect with you, help you feel understood, and work together in a way that feels right for you. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d love to chat about how we can begin.
CBT helps you untangle the links between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. It’s a practical, proven approach that helps you spot unhelpful patterns and swap them for ones that actually support your well-being. Together, we’ll build awareness of what’s going on in your inner world, and find healthier ways to navigate life’s ups and downs — so you can move towards the kind of life that feels good and true for you.
Schema Therapy goes deeper to help you understand the stories you tell yourself — the ones that can keep you stuck. We’ll explore the unmet needs behind those patterns and find kinder, more helpful ways to meet them now. This approach blends thinking, feeling, and experiential techniques to help you heal old hurts, build stronger coping skills, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and free.
DBT is all about balance — accepting yourself as you are and working towards change. It offers practical skills for managing big emotions, handling stress, staying present, and building healthier relationships. Together we’ll work on finding that sweet spot between self-compassion and growth, helping you feel more grounded, resilient, and able to handle whatever life throws your way.
When it comes to eating disorders, I offer CBT-Enhanced (CBT-E), a gold-standard approach that helps you understand and change unhelpful patterns around food, body image, and emotions. But if you’re not quite ready to tackle changing the eating disorder directly, that’s okay — we can focus on everything around it first. My specialised clinical management approach means we’ll work together on stabilising life, building support, and creating the right conditions for change, when you’re ready. All at your pace, with no pressure.
